MUYUY SCHOOL

Muyuy School Network is co-created to remind us that love is the way to reach the heart, that it is the time to awaken our consciousness and relearn from the awakened consciousness of children and adolescents, that there are different ways to follow our dharma, to live in alignment with our soul in the here and now, unifying the tribe in a loving coexistence with our Mother Earth.

It reminds us that we are body, mind and spirit unified in one being, therefore, it is necessary to reconnect with our seed of light and love that dwells in ourselves in connection with the source, the origin of everything, and the values left by our ancestors, reconciling wisdom and knowledge.

Our goal is to plant a network of conscious schools around the world, being the first seed in Incatiana, one of the 10 communities of Amantani Island, Puno, Peru. This school in Incatiana is located 30 minutes walking from the main port of Amantani Island, after sailing for about 3 hours on the beautiful Lake Titicaca.

We will co-create and build with the Incatiana community a warm and friendly space with Mother Earth. There, a sustainable environment will emerge for a free education with love, freedom, integration and transformation for both children and women guardians, who assume the function of companions, in addition to their roles as heads of households, mothers, aunts, grandmothers, sisters, among others.

On a daily basis, we will receive an average of 60 children and adolescents between 5 and 17 years old and 15 women per day in weekly rotating shifts who will participate in the learning and reconnection circles, prepared for them and, in turn, they will also be facilitators of these spaces where they will share their knowledge; likewise, we will co-create a weekly women's circle for all of them together. In this way we benefit the 60 guardians who assume the role of heads of household in the care of the little giants.

Our official guardian of the Muyuy School in Incatiana is Alexa Mamani Calsin, a native of the place and a professional educator. She, together with the Muyuy Tribe, the advisory council of boys and girls, women, guardians of Mother Earth, spiritual referents, holistic therapists, facilitators, pedagogues, psychologists, neurolinguists, social workers, among others, will support this magical and healing space.

The Muyuy School is not an official school of education; however, our challenge is that by 2028 it will be recognized by the Peruvian State as an institution that works based on its own methodology. From 2025 to 2027, children and adolescents will follow the official program in their schools and, after their school activities, they will attend our school in the afternoons as part of a complementary pedagogical, emotional, spiritual and holistic program in their lives.

The construction and collaborative implementation of the headquarters of our Muyuy School in Incatiana will begin in 2024. And the opening of a medicinal space for the community will take place from January 2025.
