MUYUY ITINERANT SCHOOL

It is a multidisciplinary proposal that shares inspiring and innovative pedagogical experiences and holistic healing and ancestral practices, which contribute to co-create a space of love, art, games and exchange of knowledge; sowing hope in every corner of our Mother Earth.

The Muyuy Itinerant School is inspired by the qualities of the hummingbird to sow hope in all the hearts it encounters on its journey, following its heartbeat and listening to the voice that guides it.

A Mexican legend tells that when all things were created, there was no one to carry the desires and thoughts from one place to another. The gods no longer had mud or corn, so they took a Jade stone and with it they formed a very small arrow. When they finished it, they blew on it and it flew away: they had created the x ts'unu'um or hummingbird. Since then, the hummingbird is the messenger of the gods and guardian of unconditional love.

The hummingbird is very fragile, light and strong at the same time. It can approach all flowers, even the most delicate, without moving a single petal and visit more than a thousand flowers in a single day. The movement of its wings draws the pattern of the infinity symbol or the stroke of the number 8; this characteristic movement of its wings allows it to float in the air, the same forwards, backwards, up, down and even upside down, being the only birds in the world with the ability to fly backwards.

The Muyuy Itinerant School is the mobile format of our school network. The tribe will go to every place in the world where they want to ignite the flame of love that dwells in the heart of every being: rural and indigenous communities, neighborhoods, shelters, hospitals, parks, among others.
